Instructor Videos
As you may have noticed from the Autism Explained page, I'm a big fan of videos. And, as it turns out, there was already a video made to explain autism to college professors. They try to give an idea of the diversity of students with autism, and explain it directly within the concept of your classroom. They provide some tips on how to accommodate students with Asperger Syndrome. As you may or may not know, Asperger's Syndrome is a subset of autism which you are more likely to run into in college, which is essentially people with autism that have good verbal skills. What you learn from these videos applies to all people you'd find at the college-level with autism and is pretty incredible in how thorough and useful it is. After the two videos, I tossed in one more fun video - that of Abed (a character with autistic traits) interacting with one of his own college professors. That said, the example can still be very useful.
